Unbelievable: Meet The 70-Year-Old Woman Who Is Currently 'Pregnant' With Her 8th Child (Photos)

A woman who is already 70 years old, has revealed that she is in fact pregnant with her eight child.


Metro UK reports that a 70-year-old woman who claims she is pregnant with her eighth child could become the oldest mother in history if she gives birth in three months’ time.
 
Maria de la Luz, from Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico, believes she is six months pregnant with a baby girl and says she has the ultrasounds to prove it.
 
Despite not giving away any details of the pregnancy, including whether she had IVF treatment, Maria says she first suspected she was pregnant three months ago.
 
She said: ‘My legs hurt and I was vomiting and felt dizzy. Now they have done around 10 ultrasounds in a private clinic and in the (public) social security hospital. The doctors could not believe it.’
 
Speaking of the ultrasounds de la Luz said: ‘They told me it is a girl. Look, you can see her little face.’
 
She said some of her children were not happy with the news that she was pregnant telling her she was too old for ‘those things’.

She has an appointment with a gynaecologist on July 18 and says she is expecting to have a caesarean-delivery because of her age.
 
The current record holder is Maria del Carmen Bousada de Lara – who was 66 and 358 days when she gave birth to twin boys Christian and Pau in December 2006.
 
They were delivered prematurely by caesarean section and weighed 3.5 lbs (1.6 kilogrammes). Bousada de Lara admitted she lied to physicians about her age when seeking in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment at a clinic in California.
 
She surpassed the record established in 2005 by Romanian mother Adriana Iliescu, who was also 66.
 
Omkari Panwar from Uttar Pradesh, India claimed she was 70 when she gave birth to twins in 2008 but this was unverified.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has clarified that cut-off points are not set by the body. The exams will begin on Saturday May 13, 2017 .   He explained that a policy committee chaired by the Minister of Education, with the Board, Vice-Chancellors, Provosts of Colleges of Education and Polytechnic Rectors as members, is saddled with the task.
