This administration will finish anything it starts- acting president Yemi Osinbajo says

Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, says the Buhari-led administration would complete any of the projects it started before the end of its tenure. The acting president said this when he met with a delegation from Bayelsa State regarding the $3.6 billion Brass Fertilizer & Petro-Chemical Company, at the state house Abuja today June 6th.

According to Osinbajo, the Buhari administration is working so hard to change the culture of abandoned projects in Nigeria. According to him "a new way of thinking is emerging” “The Buhari administration, this government is committed to finishing whatever we start. At the end of the day, we shall ensure that” he said

JAMB Registrar speaks on cut-off marks, breakdown of registered UTME candidates

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has clarified that cut-off points are not set by the body. The exams will begin on Saturday May 13, 2017 .   He explained that a policy committee chaired by the Minister of Education, with the Board, Vice-Chancellors, Provosts of Colleges of Education and Polytechnic Rectors as members, is saddled with the task. The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, said this at the news briefing on Tuesday in Bwari, in preparation for the conduct of this year’s UTME. He described cut-off points to be a minimum requirement and not an indication that one was admissible. Bwari (Abuja) – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Sunday said that it had set May 26 for rescheduled Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) for more than 12, 000 candidates across the country. The Board’s Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.
